It was more than exciting to have my first opportunity to shoot a destination wedding, and to top it all off it was in Cabo, Mexico at the beautiful Zoetry – Casa Del Mar Resort. Even though this may have been the longest wedding day I have covered it went by so fast just because we were having fun, we were well fed and hydrated, and there was always something to capture. This post focuses on many of the things that went on before the ceremony, mainly consisting of the First Look and portraits taken after, with a few detail shots here and there. I was happy to hear that James and Jennifer wanted to see each other before the ceremony and participate in the ‘First Look’, it is such a precious time for a couple to see each other in an intimate setting and being able to capture their true emotions in the same frame. Enjoy these images and stay tuned for the rest of the day and a slideshow that will include more detail shots.

It is finally time to begin rolling out some pictures from the AMAZING time shooting my first destination wedding in Cabo. Although the resort was simply beautiful the part that made this experience so enjoyable were my awesome clients Jennifer and James. They made me feel so welcome and relaxed that it made my job so easy, not to mention they always made sure I was well hydrated and had food in my belly, which always make me very happy. I wanted to share some pictures from Jennifer’s bridal session that we took during her stay at the resort. Jennifer was the perfect client to shoot because she gave 100% trust to me and was willing to do whatever I wanted. I must also mention that I did not travel alone on this trip, I invited Jason Anderson of JA2 Photography to capture this wedding with me and he did a fantastic job and so thankful he was wing-man on the trip. Here are some of my favorite shots from our time together walking around the Zoetry – Casa Del Mar Resort. Enjoy.

I met up with my cousin Andrea to shoot an updated family session since it had been a couple of years since we had one. It is great to have family that is so supportive of what I do, it helps me keep the dream alive. This session was in the little town square out in Terrell, Texas. Here are a few of my favorite images from the session. Enjoy!
