I probably end up saying this on so many of my blog posts, but it is true, I am blessed with some of the best clients a guy could ask for! It is great to see how God connects me with someone amazing couples and people in love and who love God. This couple is no exception. Steve and Monica were married a few months back at the Midlothian Conference Center in Midlothian, TX. They were so excited to have me capture their wedding which of course made me super excited for their wedding day to arrive! I love being a witness to God-centered ceremonies where the highlight of the wedding is not only on the bride but more importantly the God she holds dear. It was a blessing to capture this wedding day, Monica and Steve were a blast to work with throughout the day. I also have to mention that I am noticing a trend of booking Aggie Weddings. I am beginning to notice more and more Aggie Alumni contacting me to shoot their weddings. I don’t know how it has happened but I think it is pretty cool to keep continuing to be apart of these fun wedding days. I think my personal favorite moment of the day was getting to not only hear of the mad robot dancing skills that Monica possessed but actually getting to see those skills in action on the dance floor. Here are some of my favorite images from the wedding day and make sure you stop back by tomorrow to view the slideshow! Enjoy and get to voting.
Technology never ceases to amaze me. How cool is it that anyone can take something they enjoy doing as a hobby and put an online shop up and sell products online to everyone that is interested. Etsy is such a cool place for anyone to get into all sorts of trouble by finding stuff to buy from great people! I have found several things for my business to purchase through Etsy and I have had such great experiences, so I thought I would make a blog post about one of them and if I can find some time I’ll share my other finds!
I wanted to surprise some of my clients with a gift for their wedding so I was doing some research online and trying to gather some ideas and stumbled upon a little shop on Etsy named My Amber Coloured World. Amber creates amazing custom bridal hangers and has done quite a great job building a name for her little shop on several wedding related blogs. She is great at what she does, great to work with, and gets the hangers in your hand as soon as she can! I looked at several similar vendors on Etsy who offer custom bridal hangers but I was most impressed by the work of Amber so I have been using her solely. If you would like a custom hanger for your wedding day or if you are a photographer looking for a great gift idea, I recommend you checking out her shop and contacting her to place an order. Make sure you give yourself about 4-6 weeks before your wedding, she is popular and has tons of hangers to create!
Here are some images of the hangers in action from some of my past weddings! Enjoy and make sure you let Amber know I sent you over.
