I have received wonderful feedback from my session with the Ham family, and I wanted to share another facet from this session. I teamed up with Brent from Talia Productions to help take this session one step further and not only tell their story through pictures but capture it also through film. I believe a video can have just a deep of an impact on the viewer now and for generations to come. Years can pass and memories can quickly be lost, a child may never know how they acted at a young age, but having a video to document a precious time in their life can be so rewarding. Brent did an amazing job collaborating with me during this session and I believe he captured the love this family has for each other in a fun way. Brent and I will be offering these types of picture and video sessions to our clients from this point forward. I had the pleasure of meeting of with my old college friends Travis and Holland a couple of month ago for a family session. They have a wonderful daughter named Kyla Grace who I had not seen in a couple of years, technically she was about to turn two years old and I hadn’t seen her since she was just a few days old. I was excited for this opportunity because I wanted to make my family sessions more of a lifestyle session, meaning that I wanted images from my sessions to tell a story. I knew Travis, Holland, and Kyla Grace would be the perfect family to start these types of sessions because they are laid back and willing to try anything for me. We basically just spent some time in their home and then took a little walk around their neighborhood. Because each family and person is different each lifestyle session is going to look a little differently based on the interests and lives of the people I am capturing. It was fun just walking around their beautiful home and just having some “play-time” with Kyla Grace, you could tell she was having a good time with mommy and daddy.
